HR Manager Americas

Position Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization's human resources by planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs and practices.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Compliance with federal and state laws and internal policies including ACA, ERISA, Wage and Hour, HIPAA, EEO, COBRA NLRB

Provide strategic and operational recommendations to managers and owners respectful to HR policies

Serve as a liaison between employees and management; keeping UK board of directors informed of employee related issues and concerns and employees informed of company directives

Roll out HR policies and procedures, including managing code of conduct compliance

Manage and Administer HRIS, Paycom

Manage benefits administration, benefit renewals and communication including, medical, dental, vision, life, FSA, 401k, vacation and sick leave

Manage bi-monthly payroll communications and coordinate bi-monthly payroll preparation

Assist with annual audit of 401k

Conduct internal I-9 audit

Manage employee performance appraisal and compensation reviews

Conduct overall duties for employees and contracts from offer to hiring and offboarding


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, General Business or related fields

3 – 5 years with a proven track record and experience as an HR representative, generalist or senior HR Assistant

US recognised HR certification required. PHR/SPHR/SHRM-SCP
