Since 2004, prosource.it has been providing IT support for CHC Scotia. Major projects during this time have included the virtualisation of the server environment and the upgrade of the majority of the networks.
A historical federal and autonomous structure has resulted in diverse client standards, including multiple images, mail clients and different hardware vendors. Tackling this will reduce cost of ownership and enhance the service offering. In conjunction with CHC, prosource.it have introduced a standard client build and hardware set for all locations and are planning the migration from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Exchange.
prosource.it has also planned and implemented a global AD rollout whilst performing further network upgrades at 5 Irish helicopter bases.
