Joined us in 2004
Growing up in Thurso in the north of Scotland,
a place where the sheep by far outnumber the town folk, I could
never imagine in my wildest dreams the kind of experiences I’ve
had or people I’ve met since joining Prosource in 2004.
Since joining the company I’ve worked on contracts with
CHC Scotia, Transocean, Weatherford and BP, with the latter including
having to travel to different sites round the UK. However this
gave me the travelling bug and in 2006 I took a year long hiatus,
packed my bags and headed for Melbourne, Australia.
Prior to working for Prosource I would say I
lacked focus, drive and confidence to succeed, but because of
the time and effort the company put into looking after you, the
training and opportunities and the family feel approach, I can
say this is no longer the case.
I’m currently based in Westhill, Aberdeen
with Technip UK but away from work I enjoying lighting up a football
pitch with a dazzling array of skills, throwing myself down a
slope strapped to a snowboard or being dragged round shoe shops
kicking and screaming by my fiancé.
