Stewart Proctor

A founding director of prosource.it, Stewart graduated with a BSc in Biochemistry from Aberdeen University and Diploma in Management Studies from Robert Gordon’s University. After 12 years account managing blue chip corporate customers at Computacenter, Stewart decided to look for new challenges and left to startup an IT services company, Promac, with Steve Mackie in late 1999. In the years following its merger to form prosource.it in June 2003, he assumed the Commercial Director role whilst continuing to manage global IT infrastructure projects for prosource’s customers. In 2011, in support of the company’s growth, Stewart has taken on the responsibility of the role of Managing Director.

Stewart lives in Aberdeen with his wife Susan & their three children. His outside interests include fishing, golf, skiing and the support of the Aberdeen Dolphins Swimming Club where all three children are enthusiastic and active club members.
 

Steve Mackie

A founding director of prosource.it, Steve graduated with a BSc in Computing Science from Aberdeen University. After 12 years providing technical and project management services to blue chip corporate customers at Computacenter, Steve decided to look for new challenges and left to startup an IT services company, Promac, with Stewart Proctor in late 1999. In the years following its merger to form prosource.it in June 2003, he assumed the Operational Director role whilst continuing to manage global IT infrastructure projects for prosource’s customers. He is also a director of the US & Canada companies and in 2011, he shifted into a corporate role, assuming Board Level accountability for the Group finances and strategic development.

Steve lives in Aberdeen with his wife Jill and outside work they enjoy an active lifestyle that includes marathon running, skiing and scuba diving.
 

Alan Cowie

A founding director of prosource.it, Alan studied a BSc in Engineering Technology at the Robert Gordon Institute of Technology. Alan then spent 21 years at Shirlaws Ltd - including eight as the General Manager - before joining Outsource IT as the Operations Manager in 1999. In the years following the merger to form prosource.it in 2003, Alan assumed the role of Service Director, dealing with the company’s fiscal matters and tax issues.

Alan lives outside Aberdeen with his wife Mairead, and their 3 children. Outside of work he still holds a keen interest in vehicles, and enjoys riding motorcycles & attending biking events, as well as skiing and travel.
