TAQA Bratani is a relatively new entrant to the North Sea, but has grown rapidly, becoming one of the most respected Operators based in Aberdeen. As their fleet of PCs began to approach end of serviceable life, they decided to combine a hardware refresh with an OS upgrade. prosource.it has a proven track record in client refresh delivery, and as such were a natural partner to deploy Windows 7 on a number of their onshore and offshore sites.

For over a decade prosource.it has delivered countless projects to BP globally. We dynamically build specialist teams to lead, manage, contribute to and execute challenging IT projects.

The migration of 6000 users, 200 application servers, 25 resource servers and workstations over 160 locations in 4 time zones.

prosource.it based a team at DPSG’s Dallas, Texas headquarters. There were two main project phases: Preparation & Migration. To meet the regulatory & business demands of a multi-billion Dollar de-merger, prosource.it created and migrated the appropriate IT infrastructure on time and on budget.

The actual migration was completed within 8 weeks and to customer schedule to meet demerger requirements.

In March 2011, from an original bid list of 55 companies, prosource.it became Scotland’s only SME to be selected in Lot2 of the Scottish Governments IT Managed Services Framework agreement.

In the aftermath of the Deepwater Horzon tragedy, we supplied IT services in support of the Crisis Response Team.

Within 2 days we rapidly provided customer and technology familiar, capable teams, dedicated to serving the needs of BP. We continue to help BP respond to the crisis.

When Bond Helicopters returned to the North Sea in 2004, they needed a responsive IT services provider capable of meeting the resilience, performance & availability challenges in their safety critical operating environment.
