A fast growing information technology (IT) company based in the north-east is planning to add a further 50 people to its workforce in the next 18 months.
Prosource.it, which was only founded in 2003, now employs 150 people and expects to hit the 200 mark by early 2009.
Outwith the UK, the company is already working in the US, Far East, Russia and various European countries.
Banchory-Devenick-based Prosource.it services 20 corporate clients, including seven FTSE 100 companies.
It said yesterday that profits for the past financial year had jumped by £600,000 to £2.4million. Turnover increased to nearly £11million; a rise of more than 50%.
The firm gets its revenue from a variety of sectors, including oil and gas (45%), financial (20%), transport (10%) and media (5%).
Prosource.it was established in 2003 after a merger between Promac and Outsource IT.
